Yep. I live in WA, but I'm no fan of the chickens. The utter idiocy of administrators in our schools seems to have no bounds. Kids could wear a Seahawks jersey, but not a Steelers one? Ludicrous!
Sometimes you wonder if school administrators ever went to school.
Awesome. Well worth the suspension.
Not surprised but kudos to dad and son.@LL, Yes they did, the school of socialism, not individualism.
Whoever came with zero tolerance should have his head -- and heart -- examined.
There are six screwed up administrators for each and every kid with his head screwed-on properly... at least six. I think it's the law.
Oh, that's just silly. I ran across the article as well, but it just seems dumb. Enforced "spirit"?Jeesh.
Superbowls won by the Stillers= 6Superbowls won by Seacrocks= 0Jealousy???
Inno, I certainly like the idea of a strict dress code in schools. Having lived on both sides of the debate with my four sons over 20 plus hears of skoolin', I think it's a good thing.Problems like this always arise when exceptions are made...especially when exceptions are made by exceptional morons...which seems to be the case here.
Family-friendly phrasing heartily encouraged.
