My new favorite political has-been

Spoken by former congressman Dick Armey in Financial Times:

“In September or October there will be a hyped up outbreak of the swine flu which they’ll say is as bad as the bubonic plague to scare the bed-wetters to vote for healthcare reform,” said Mr Armey. “That is the only way they can push something on to the American people that the American people don’t want.”
Now he's speakin' my language! Now if only we could get some officeholders to lay it out that clearly!

  4. Ol' Dickie is a straight shooter, I like his use of "bedwetters"...adds a little gunpowder to the statement.

  7. That is an awesome quote, good find!

And it'll happen, too. Just as how "climate change" is the excuse to foster global governance on us, so will swine flu et al be used to justify imposing on us plebs things that we do not want.

Less than 300 people worldwide have died from swine flu! It's less dangerous than cutting your own toenails!

Family-friendly phrasing heartily encouraged.
